Latest Data Centers Committing to Compliance with Texas Data Center Standards

Governor Greg Abbott announced that several data center companies, including Amazon and Compass Datacenters, will comply with new statewide standards established to protect Texas' electric grid, conserve water, and respect communities. These guidelines ensure data centers do not burden Texas families with costs or interfere with their quality of life. The Public Utilities Commission of Texas and ERCOT are tasked with auditing project information to ensure compliance before projects can proceed.
