Abbott halts data center approvals pending audits, but Panhandle data centers will not be affected

This directive aims to gather information on financial assistance, self-sufficiency, community impact, and ownership. However, data centers in the Texas Panhandle, connected to the Southwest Power Pool, are exempt from this new policy.
