State Rep. Presses TCEQ and Data Center Company Over Development

State Representative Drew Darby is urging the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) to hold a public meeting in Tom Green County regarding air quality permits for a proposed Beacon Data Centers project. He also pressed Beacon Data Centers on residents' concerns about water use, power grid strain, noise, traffic, and transparency. This comes as Governor Greg Abbott also calls for new standards for data center development in Texas.
