Warwood Residents File Civil Suit to Stop Data Center Development

A group of Warwood residents in Wheeling, West Virginia, has filed a civil lawsuit against Silicon Foundry Energy LLC (doing business as Silicon Foundation) to stop a proposed data center development. The complaint seeks an injunction to prevent construction and alleges that House Bill 2014, which regulates high-impact data centers, is unconstitutional. Residents also argue the project falls outside the city's current I-2 Industrial zoning classification.
