Building permit issued for new Cedar Rapids data center

A building permit has been approved for a new 98,695-square-foot data center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The facility, owned by CLOP LLC and developed by Oppidan Connect, will draw up to 10 megawatts of power. This project is significantly smaller than other hyperscale data centers under construction in the area by QTS and Google.
