IURC approves framework for NIPSCO to buy power from its data center affiliate

The Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission approved a framework allowing Northern Indiana Public Service Co. to purchase energy capacity from an affiliated company created to serve data center demand. The arrangement is intended to help NIPSCO meet expected electricity needs from data center development.
