New data center regulations passed after Birmingham meeting

The Birmingham City Council approved new zoning regulations for data centers after a lengthy public meeting. Despite significant public opposition and frustration from residents, the council voted to pass the rules. Residents in the Oxmoor community have already filed a lawsuit against the city to halt construction of a data center by Nebulous.
