Data center developer takes Plains Twp. to court over zoning denial

Mudiita Land Holdings sued Plains Township after commissioners voted 4-0 to reject a proposed zoning overlay that would have allowed a data center campus on roughly 592 acres. The lawsuit seeks a curative amendment, while the township says it will hold a hearing and consider whether its existing ordinance needs to be amended.
