Closed downtown San Francisco Centre mall could be turned into an AI data center, according to proposal from K-G Growth Partners

K-G Growth Partners is exploring a proposal to convert the former Bloomingdale's space in San Francisco Centre into an AI data center, with public areas remaining open on lower floors. The concept is in its early stages, no permit application has been filed, and it could be affected by San Francisco's 45-day pause on approvals for new data centers.
