Data center company proposes large scale project in Socorro

Green Data Centers is proposing a multi-billion-dollar, 10-gigawatt solar-powered data center project on 10,000 acres west of M Mountain in Socorro, New Mexico. The company plans a "renewables-first" approach with battery storage and atmospheric water generation for a water-neutral design.
