Residents of CT town fear potential for mammoth data center. Residents are ‘dumbfounded’ by size.

Cromwell residents are opposing Global Common’s proposed 1.2 million-square-foot data center campus near homes, schools and parks, although the company has not yet filed a formal application. The planning and zoning commission rejected a proposed one-year data center moratorium in a 5-2 vote, while residents continue petitioning and considering another attempt.
