February sluggish for new construction$

February was a slow month for construction in Washington, Missouri, with only two residential construction permits issued worth just over $1 million, down from $3.2 million in January and $12.4 million in December. However, the city did issue a $1.6 million permit for the construction of a new marijuana dispensary owned by Elevate Cannabis, which is set to open on July 1.
