Taylor leaders sign off on 664-acre data center campus

The Taylor City Council approved a development agreement for a 664-acre data center campus on the city’s eastern edge, backed by Big Wat Digital and PowerHouse Data Centers. The agreement includes a 65-decibel noise limit, closed-loop cooling, on-site power generation and about $28 million in community investments, but opponents say they will continue fighting the project.
