Residents rally against proposed Springdale data center before Allegheny County hearing

More than 100 residents protested a proposed hyperscale AI data center in Springdale ahead of Allegheny County's second and final preliminary hearing. County officials identified 97 application violations and will decide within 90 days whether to approve, conditionally approve or deny the project's preliminary land development plan.
