Lawsuit seeks public review of Spartanburg Co. data center project

Spartanburg County is facing a lawsuit over a nearly $3 billion VALERA High Performance Computer Data Center already under construction. The Southern Environmental Law Center, representing concerned citizens, filed a motion requesting public review of the project, accusing the county and VALERA of avoiding the public planning committee process.
