Data center moratorium fight plays out in Benton County courtroom

A developer, Trent Overhue and NSI6 LLC, is challenging Benton County, Missouri's six-month moratorium on data centers. Overhue sought a temporary restraining order against the county, arguing the moratorium was enacted after he committed to buying land for a data center project. The county argues the moratorium is valid since no construction has started on the project, and a judge has yet to issue a ruling.
