Group says it has a better plan for Smithfield

A group called the Benton Township Bakers Dozen has proposed an alternative plan for the Smithfield processing plant in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. They are appealing the conditional use permit and tax increment plan, urging the City Council to defer their vote to consider the group's alternative site which aims to reduce costs and impact.
