Data center project receives nod from Kearney Planning Commission with new regulations in place

The Kearney Planning Commission has approved a conditional use permit for the "Project Horizon" data center, proposed by Worldwide Mission Critical and SDV, to be located east of Kearney. The approval includes new stricter regulations, with the project slated for a City Council review on September 8th. Community members expressed concerns regarding sound and water usage.
