Related Digital's $16B Saline Township Data Center is Walbridge's Largest Project Ever

Walbridge, a Detroit-based construction firm, is serving as the general contractor for Related Digital's $16 billion, gigawatt-scale data center development in Saline Township, Michigan. Developed exclusively for Oracle and OpenAI, this project marks Walbridge's largest in its 110-year history and represents the biggest economic investment in Michigan. The campus is being built under a first-in-the-nation project labor agreement, employing over 2,500 union tradespeople and is projected to open in 2029.
