Potosi community hosts data center information event for Driftless Area residents

Potosi, Wisconsin community members hosted an informational event about data centers and their impacts on the local Driftless region. The event featured speakers like data center expert Prescott Balch, who discussed concerns over data center water and energy usage, as well as the need for a longer timeline for communities to evaluate proposals. Over 500 people attended the event, including an Iowa County Board member who plans to share the information with his colleagues.
