Electricity transmission expansion plans include swaths of land in Indiana County$

Two major power companies are planning an electricity transmission expansion through Indiana County, Pennsylvania, to meet the rising energy demands of the region's data centers. This project, part of PJM's 2025 plan, addresses a projected 3-gigawatt shortage if proposed data centers in PPL Corporation's service area become operational.
