Bastrop County residents urge transparency on proposed data center, gas plant project

Cedar Creek residents are opposing a proposed data center campus and on-site natural gas power plant near thousands of homes, citing concerns about transparency, air emissions and water use. Bastrop County commissioners are expected to vote on a resolution asking the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality to hold a public meeting about the project.
