Allen Twp. sets regulations for future data center developments, would not apply to proposed project

Allen Township adopted new data center regulations limiting water use, noise and facility power, but the rules will not apply to OnSite Partners' proposed 240-acre campus. Township trustees said the project can pursue planned unit development status, which allows project-specific zoning requirements and has drawn concern from zoning officials and community members.
