Ferguson city council says yes to tax breaks for data center development

The Ferguson City Council narrowly approved a proposal to redevelop the former Emerson campus, including a potential 300-megawatt data center expansion, despite significant public opposition. The plan includes up to $1.5 billion in tax incentives and $22 billion in industrial revenue bonds for Next Revolution Technologies LLC.
