Weathersfield Trustees Say Zoning Doesn’t Allow Data Center

Weathersfield Township trustees state that the land Bitdeer is considering for a new data center is not properly zoned for that purpose. Bitdeer has filed a petition to annex the Weathersfield parcels into Niles, which would shift zoning authority. The Niles City Council is also considering a moratorium on data center construction.
