Stephens County commissioners eye road safeguards for future energy projects

Stephens County commissioners heard a presentation about safeguards for roads that could be affected by construction associated with future wind, solar, battery-storage and data center projects. Kirkham Michael engineer Steve Linehan outlined a monitoring process that could document road damage and hold developers accountable for repairs, although no new projects are currently planned.
