Data center work to begin in 2027
Data center construction by Carbon Node East, owned by Keel Infrastructure Corp., is expected to begin in Nesquehoning, PA in 2027, pending DEP approvals. The project held an information session to address concerns about water usage, noise levels, and environmental impact, including a closed-loop water system and tree planting. The facility is expected to create 350 full-time jobs and provide benefits to the local school district.
