West Feliciana’s 1948 jail expected to be replaced with funding from data center deal
West Feliciana Parish is set to receive $90 million annually for 15 years from a data center deal with HUD 8, facilitated by State Representative Jeremy Lome's HB466. These funds will primarily replace the aging 1948 parish jail and support infrastructure, education, and law enforcement. A $10 million prepayment is anticipated by July.
