McMinnville leaders vote for 18-month moratorium on data centers

McMinnville city leaders have voted to enact an 18-month moratorium on new data center projects within the city limits. This decision allows the city time to study the potential impacts of such developments. The moratorium, however, does not affect a proposed Hixson data center project in Warren County, as the county currently lacks regulations to prevent it.
