SoftBank CEO Son unveils $500 bil AI data center investment in Ohio

SoftBank Group Corp announced plans to invest $500 billion to build a large artificial intelligence data center in Piketon, Ohio, with construction starting this year. The data center will be connected to a new 9.2 gigawatt gas-fired power plant to support its energy-intensive AI operations.
