Citrus County looks to place moratorium on data center applications

Citrus County Commissioners voted unanimously to consider a temporary moratorium of up to 12 months on new data center applications to allow time for developing comprehensive regulations. This moratorium, however, will not affect an existing rezoning application by Deltona Corp. for a data center in Holder, which has already faced significant public opposition.
