New recall language for Mason mayor approved by Elections Commission

The Ingham County Elections Commission has re-approved recall petition language against Mason Mayor Russell Whipple, who is considering an appeal. This recall effort, led by the group "No Data Centers in Mason," stems from the mayor's vote to approve new zoning that would allow data centers in the city. If an appeal is not filed or rejected, petitions can be circulated to place the recall on the May 2027 ballot.
