City Of Wapakoneta Update On Potential Data Center

Wapakoneta officials said no agreements, approvals, or commitments have been made for a potential data center proposed by Colocation Technology Services in the city’s industrial park. Preliminary studies indicate the facility could receive up to 50 megawatts through a direct connection to an American Electric Power line, while its projected water use would fit within existing system capacity. Public informational meetings are planned before the developer submits any formal applications.
