Supervisors to Reconsider Denial of Leesburg Area Data Center

Loudoun County supervisors voted to reconsider a data center application near Leesburg, which includes a long-duration energy storage facility. The application, filed by Cochran Tech, was initially denied last month due to concerns regarding location, steep slopes, appearance, and proximity to homes. The board decided to send the application back to the Planning Commission for further review after the applicant proposed several changes.
