California Resources Corp. Unveils 275MW Data Center Project in Kern County
California Resources Corp. (CRC) is partnering with Beacon Data Centers to develop a 100-acre, 275-megawatt data center called the Golden Valley Technology Hub next to its Elk Hills Oil Field operations in Kern County, California. The project will utilize a closed-loop cooling system and draw power from an existing on-site cogeneration plant. CRC has submitted a conditional use permit application and expects environmental review to begin later this year.
