Gardner data center plan withdrawn by company after resident opposition

Beale Infrastructure has withdrawn its proposal for a 300-acre data center in Gardner, Kansas, after the city stated it would not provide public incentives for the project. The decision followed strong opposition from over 100 residents and state Senator Doug Shane at a City Council meeting. Residents raised concerns about pollution, noise, water usage, and impacts on property values.
