Residents decry data centers at Muskegon County meeting

More than 100 Muskegon County residents attended an informational county meeting and spoke against the possibility of future data center development. County officials said no data center proposals have been submitted and explained that zoning and land-use authority rests with individual townships and cities, while residents raised concerns about environmental impacts, noise, water use and infrastructure.
