Bad weather delays Pennhurst data center hearing

A conditional use hearing for a 1.9-million-square-foot data center proposal at the former Pennhurst state hospital in East Vincent, PA, was postponed due to bad weather. The developer, Pennhurst Holdings LLC, submitted revised plans including increased square footage and on-site power generation, leading to activist calls for a restart of the review process. The Township Planning Commission had previously voted against recommending the project.
