Reno activists call for moratorium on data centers

Protesters in Reno called for a moratorium and stronger regulations on data center development, saying the projects could impact water, air quality, utility rates and local communities. The protest was held before a special Reno City Council meeting. Speakers at the event said they want comprehensive guardrails and community benefit agreements if future data centers are approved in Northern Nevada.
