H&MV Engineering, an Irish high-voltage electrical engineering and construction firm, has officially relocated its North American headquarters to Dallas, Texas. The company announced that this expansion will lead to the creation of 1,000 U.S. jobs over the next five years, focusing its growth in North Texas.
Ken Gilmartin, Executive Vice President for H&MV Engineering in the U.S., stated that Dallas was selected due to its strategic location, offering proximity to customers and major growth markets, as well as access to a skilled talent pool in engineering and construction. The new headquarters at 3131 McKinney Ave. will bolster the firm's operations across the U.S., with particular emphasis on Texas and Louisiana.
The firm specializes in designing and constructing substations and other critical infrastructure for delivering large-scale electricity to various sectors, including utilities, energy projects, and data centers. P.J. Flanagan, CEO of H&MV Engineering, highlighted that the rapid growth of AI and data centers is a significant factor driving the demand for advanced power infrastructure. H&MV has experienced substantial financial growth, with revenues surging from $70 million in 2020 to over $1.1 billion currently, and is valued at approximately $1.6 billion after recent investments.
