The Woodbury County Zoning Commission is initiating a series of three public meetings to develop a new data center zoning ordinance. This effort follows a recent decision by county officials to implement a one-year moratorium on data center construction in unincorporated areas of Woodbury County.

The purpose of these meetings is to establish regulations that will govern future data center projects once the current moratorium concludes. The first meeting is scheduled for tonight at the Sloan Community Hall, with subsequent meetings planned for September 21st at the Moville Community Center and November 9th at the Salix Community Center.
