Colovore, a California-based artificial intelligence data center developer, has announced plans to construct a new $280 million data center in Hutto, Texas. The project is slated to begin construction this December at 2401 Innovation Boulevard, with completion expected by December 2028.

The one-story facility will span 192,694 square feet and is designed to provide 40 megawatts of power, utilizing liquid-based cooling. According to Colovore's website, the Hutto site is intended to offer "premier AI colocation infrastructure to the heart of Austin's booming tech corridor" and cater to clients such as hyperscalers, chipmakers, autonomous vehicle developers, and public-sector agencies.

The information was made public through a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. The new data center will be situated adjacent to a potential future facility for Blue Origin, Jeff Bezos' space technology company.
