On Friday afternoon, the LaGrange Fire Department (LFD) conducted an aerial rescue at the Google data center construction site located at 411 Pegasus Parkway. Firefighters responded around 2:47 p.m. to reports of a worker sustaining injuries approximately 50 feet above ground level on the roof of the structure. Due to the elevated and complex nature of the situation, additional resources, including Tower 31 an 85-foot aerial platform, were called to the scene. LFD personnel, in coordination with Troup County AMR and the site's on-site response team, administered immediate medical care to the injured individual. The patient was then carefully secured and lowered to the ground using the aerial platform. Once on the ground, advanced medical care continued, and Air Evac 77 transported the worker to a regional trauma center. The individual's condition was reported as serious but stable. The incident underscored the coordinated efforts of the LaGrange Fire Department, LaGrange Police Department, Troup County AMR, and on-site staff in executing a safe and efficient rescue from a challenging elevated environment.
