The Clarksville City Council in Arkansas unanimously approved two ordinances to issue a total of $55 billion in taxable industrial development revenue bonds, providing financial support for a data center currently under construction. One ordinance allocated up to $50 billion to Hatchbo LLC, while the second approved up to $5 billion for SF ARK1 LLC, identified as Serverfarm.

Serverfarm is leading the $6.6 billion data center project, which includes major mechanical and electrical systems for long-term operations. The facility is being built off Arkansas Highway 123, near the Johnson Regional Medical Center. Serverfarm anticipates the project will generate approximately $558 million in local public benefit through 2060 and create thousands of construction jobs, along with an estimated 150 to 400 indirect regional jobs once operational. The initial phase of the data center is scheduled for completion by early 2028.
