A group opposing the "Project Blue" data center in Tucson, Arizona, known as the Cholla Brigade, has announced new tactics by targeting businesses involved in the project's development. On Thursday, members of the group, wearing masks and carrying signs, conducted a "noise demonstration" at the private offices of Lazarus and Silvyn, the law firm representing developer Beale Infrastructure. Videos from the law firm showed protestors shouting and beating drums. Beale Infrastructure condemned the incident, stating that masked individuals trespassed into their partners' offices and threatened staff. The company emphasized that its employees and partners are "fellow Arizonans, neighbors, and community members who deserve respect," while affirming support for peaceful protest. Tucson Police Department responded to the incident, and its threat mitigation unit is currently investigating. No arrests have been reported.
