The Knox County Planning Commission has approved a county commission recommendation to pause all new data center construction in Knox County, Tennessee. The decision, made during a meeting that also addressed the Curbela development in South Knoxville, grants county leaders the opportunity to draft comprehensive new zoning regulations and establish guidelines for future data center projects.
