The Hermantown Area Chamber of Commerce has expressed strong support, with President and CEO Kimberly Parmeter calling it "one of the most significant private investments ever considered" in the region. Parmeter emphasized that the project could reshape the city's tax base, reduce pressure on residential taxpayers, and bring more houses and jobs, along with critical infrastructure.
Conversely, local residents have voiced intense opposition for months, forming a group called "Stop the Hermantown Data Center."
