The Lake Township Board of Trustees voted Oct. 26 to extend the township's existing data center moratorium through April 27, 2027. Trustees said the township has received no data center proposals and needs additional time to evaluate possible regulations, land-use policies and updates to its strategic plan.

The meeting also covered unrelated township business, including donated labor and up to $12,000 for materials to improve the Uniontown Police Department entrance, grant participation decisions and other administrative matters.
