Leviton, a global manufacturer of electrical wiring devices, has announced a $100 million capital investment program spanning from 2026 to 2030. This program will be allocated across its global Network Solutions manufacturing facilities, with substantial funding earmarked for U.S. plants, including its major copper cable manufacturing facility in New Holland, Pennsylvania.

The investment aims to significantly increase the output of Category 6A cabling and fiber optic products, essential components for data centers and smart building infrastructure. Leviton President and CEO Daryoush Larizadeh stated that this commitment reinforces the company's dedication to innovation and manufacturing excellence. The New Holland plant, acquired by Leviton in 2020 from former operator Berk-Tek, remains one of the largest dedicated four-pair copper cabling manufacturing facilities in the United States.

While the exact allocation for the New Holland site has not been publicly detailed, the company's Chief Operating Officer Ross Goldman emphasized the strategic timing of the investment, citing the unprecedented expansion of AI, smart buildings, and high-performance networks. This initiative builds on a previous $80 million capital program that saw the expansion of Leviton's Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina facility, doubling its optical fiber cabling capacity. The investment comes amidst a significant acceleration in data center construction across the country, with projections showing global infrastructure investment in data centers reaching $6.7 trillion by 2030.
