Last week, New York state lawmakers passed legislation, which requires the governor’s signature, to pause the construction of new large-scale data centers for one year. Sen. Kristen Gonzalez joined “Inside City Hall” to talk about the data center moratorium and more. Her district includes parts of Queens, Brooklyn and Manhattan, including neighborhoods like Astoria, Long Island City, Greenpoint, Williamsburg, Stuy Town, Kips Bay and Murray Hill.
